Seattle

Castle or admin building?

This week I went to visit the University of Washington in Seattle. I had been to some of the ‘greater campus’ buildings to collaborate with researchers there, but on this visit I saw far more of campus. It is really nice, with lots of green space and history-loving architecture.

  1. The gothic library is called Suzzallo. It is one of my favourite places on the UW campus. The second floor reading room has ridiculously high ceilings (all those tall arch-topped windows) and is one of the most beautiful places to read a book or pen… anything. The light is heavenly.
