There was still a stiff wind the day after the storm.

Nice to be back in Canada! I had some minor hurricane delays but my bags and I arrived safely last night.

There has been (and is still ongoing) lots of construction at Place des arts. Lots of St Catherine's and other parts of downtown are getting pedestrianized.

While dragging my 2 suitcases from the airport shuttle bus stop to my hotel, battling through the windy and hard-driving (though warm) rain, this song was in my head:

  1. What’s with you and hurricanes in Montreal?

    This is the song that was in my head with all the Irene coverage. Might be slightly more appropriate coming from a Quebec band.
