What little media interaction I have done has been related to sport.  I’ve been interviewed as an athlete and coach, and even gave a media training seminar for athletes when I was coaching Team BC.  I feel a little unprepared for this as an academic, so when U of S offered media training for researchers, and I was keen to go.  Unfortunately, it was 3 days after I needed it!
After my presentation at the pork symposium was approached by two journalists, one radio and one print. The radio dispatch was released right away; Â I also found a blog posting. The print article with the Western Producer took a little longer, with some follow-up calls for details. The fellow took some photos during the presentation, and included some info from the slides.
Punctuation makes all the difference here, yes?
