Not so many posts the last little while, so now that summer holidays have started I am doing some catch-up (more coming in the next week or so).
This photo is from the last of April at the big pagan ‘chase out winter’ bonfire. There are a signature set of seasonal songs that I haven’t mastered yet, I’ll need to practice for next year. In addition to singing and burning, there are ubiquitous hot dog stands, coffee and buns, and a ‘fish pond’ where kids ‘fish’ over a board painted like the ocean and pull up a prize. They have a midsummer event here as well, which I’ve heard is really lovely.
