Even a panoramic camera cannot contain all of the canola on the prairie. …and I haven’t even mentioned the wheat!

Canola is a modern, less toxic variety of rape seed and was developed in Canada (hence the name).  In July I made a few trips out to Eastern Saskatchewan to visit some pig barns.   I had the chance to see the grain commodities in action.  The barley was juuuust starting to turn golden, and undulating in the wind.  I’m not sure when the canola flowers go to seed, they seem to have been yellow a long time.
