Sister visit!

Elizabeth arrived in the middle of the night on a Monday at the end of September. Graham and I proceeded to do a work week and Elizabeth found her way around our kitchen and yard and Tullinge in general. She made dinners and came along to yoga at the canoe club. The days are getting shorter, but we have had some time for kitty walks and forest foraging and some fika.

A few highlights:

  • Elizabeth got to meet local cats in person that were previously only known by WhatsApp photos.
  • We got to walk around the nature spots in Tullinge and see some of the local sights, including the old church, the Viking fortress ruins, the canoe club, Lida and the lingon/mushroom forest, and the neighbours that share apples at this time of year.
  • We went to the famous Tegnérs bakery for several loafs and a some treats.
  • On October 4 we celebrated Cinnamon Bun day with fresh local buns made by new yoga-friend and neighbour, Johanna of Johanna’s Trädgårdscafé.

More weeks to come in this visit, so I’m sure there will be more highlights to come too!
