Last year I sent drawings/postcards to the little nephews/nieces based on what I thought they liked fro recent Science classes, or in general (Maverick got a red panda due to me not having other clear ideas, and her not being a big science participator at the time).
This year I asked the kids what they wanted, and also expanded the group of recipients to Leonie from Science class and lil Cousin Catherine. Turns out they were more creative than I was, and it was really fun to draw their ideas.
Samuel requested a dragon. He might have been picturing a flying one, but this lettuce shredder is what he got. 
Elliot requested a bunny. This one looks like a bunny I had when I was a kid, and also like a pet bunny on our street. 
Charlie wanted a unicorn! a classic. 
Lil Catherine requested a cat, and there were plenty of modelling shots of this guy. 
Maverick just likes ‘yellow’, and the season presented plenty of these. Leonie requested ‘cat riding a dragon’, which I must admit was pretty fun.
Postcards are on their way, we’ll see how long they take to get to their respective destinations.
