Stormy weather

The horse path leading home

The weekend was mostly warm and sunny, but Sunday brought some awesome summer thundershowers. I finished a run at Hemlingby while the thunder was approaching, and rode home in the tepid downpour while white and blue forked lightning flashed. The storm was short and so I rode out to Engeltofta to do some reading at the beach. The storm had scared off most people, and the ground was dry so it was a peaceful and pleasant place to hang out.

One of many lupine fields. I braved (likely absent) snakes and (definitely present) mosquitoes to wander deep into this one. It smelled great.
The most populated horse field yet.
