This winter did not have as consistently deep snow as last year, so the local forest ski trails were not skiable. 🙁 But we did ski on the golf course, and took lots of winter hikes. This Autumn and winter I also continued with bicycle commuting. Not as cold as Saskatoon, but definitely some ice and snow and cold temps to contend with. Having the forest nearby has been so awesome for walk-breaks on the days that we work from home, for longer weekend excursions, and also morning runs. Our rental landlords will eventually want their house back, but we are looking to stay around the same nighbourhood to keep access to all the great nature here. 🙂
