Return to the Stockholm Archipelago Trail! This year we went to Ornö, the biggest island in the Southern portion of the Archipelago. The island tour is listed as 32km, so we decided to spend a night at the top of the island and then do the second half the second day. The first part involved a ferry, since this island is not accessible by bus; it is far enough out that you need to pay a ‘top-up’ and not just use one’s regular transit card.
Ornö really was a nice mix of rocky coast, oak and pine forest, some tiny villages and agricultural land. It feels a little more like Sörmlandsleden than the rest of the archipelago since the island is so big, but the people were a little more friendly and chill (island vibes).
The ferry trip was very scenic, driving past the drivable islands with lots of opportunity for real estate viewing. 
There are 3 ferry docks at Ornö, and we came to Ornökyrka. the first thing you see is the charming white church. Seats 200 and has regular concerts in the summer!
